Visban Closes Series A with Investment from Beyond Next Ventures

TOKYO – 27 February 2026 – Visban, Inc., a developer of AI-controlled millimeter wave (mmWave) network technology, today announced that Beyond Next Ventures has invested in the company, closing Visban’s Series A financing round.

The Series A included participation from  UTokyo IPC and Japanese strategic corporate investors. Financial terms were not disclosed.

Visban’s V-Mesh™ technology extends millimeter wave coverage by creating a coordinated mesh of network-controlled repeaters. Managed by an AI-driven central controller, the system dynamically routes signals around obstacles and enables seamless outdoor-to-indoor transitions. This architecture maintains reliable high-band coverage across complex environments without requiring major changes to the underlying network.

Designed to work with public and private networks, including terrestrial and non-terrestrial architectures, Visban’s solution enables operators and infrastructure providers to expand millimeter-wave coverage while reducing deployment cost.

Proceeds from the Series A will be used to advance product development, system validation, AI training, and field trials with strategic partners.

“Beyond Next Ventures understands the challenges of bringing hard-science-based technologies from development to global commercialization. They are the ideal partner for Visban’s next phase,” said S.B. Cha, CEO of Visban.

“Visban addresses the most fundamental yet technically challenging problem of millimeter wave connectivity. We are confident in the potential of their approach and are fully committed to supporting the team as they drive the evolution toward a new era of communication infrastructure,” said Tsuyoshi Ito, Founder CEO / Managing Partner, and Hiroyuki Kageyama, Principal of Beyond Next Ventures.
