We are looking for a highly skilled and experienced Software Development Director to lead the development of Visban’s millimeter-wave MESH networking software. The MESH Development Director will leverage the latest AI-based approaches to lead the development, testing, and deployment of Visban’s MESH networking software. You will collaborate with a team of world-class millimeter-wave experts developing MESH protocols and transform these protocols into the MESH operating system.
What You’ll Do:
- Planning and Strategy: Develop a clear roadmap and strategy for software development projects.
- Team Management: Recruit, train, and manage software developers and engineers.
- Project Management: Oversee the entire software development lifecycle.
- Quality Assurance: Implement and enhance quality assurance processes and standards.
- Technology Evaluation and Adoption: Evaluate new tools, frameworks, and methodologies and recommend their adoption to improve efficiency and productivity.
- Testing and Validation: Plan and execute comprehensive testing methods.
- Performance Optimization: Identify and implement design improvements and optimization techniques to enhance the MESH system’s overall performance, efficiency, and reliability.
- Documentation: Create detailed technical documentation, including system specifications, test plans, design documents, and engineering reports, to promote knowledge sharing and compliance with industry standards.
Qualifications:
- Education: Master’s degree in Computer Science or a related field (Ph.D. preferred).
- Experience: 10+ years of relevant experience in software development and deployment.
- Communication Skills: Proficiency in English and Japanese, with the ability to effectively communicate complex technical concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Problem Solving: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues with RF systems operating at mmWave frequencies.
- Team and Project Management Skills: Ability to lead a team of highly technical colleagues and execute complex design and development projects.
