TOKYO – June 15, 2025 – Dr. Jin Nakazato, Assistant Professor at Tokyo University of Science and Technical Lead for Visban’s V-Mesh development, has received the Best Paper Award at the SmartCom 2025 conference, held in Eindhoven, Netherlands.
His award-winning paper, “Cross-Domain Data-Driven Digital Twins for Mobility Networks,” proposes a novel framework for constructing data-driven digital twins that span multiple domains within mobility networks. The research was recognized for its advanced contributions to the field of smart wireless communications and its potential to shape the next generation of intelligent network systems.
Out of 31 presenters in the poster session, only two were selected for the Best Paper distinction, highlighting the significance and technical excellence of Dr. Nakazato’s work.
Dr. Nakazato plays a central role at Visban, leading algorithm development and system validation for the company’s AI-powered millimeter wave subnetwork platform, V-Mesh. His academic expertise and contributions are instrumental to Visban’s mission of bringing cutting-edge wireless infrastructure to real-world deployment.
