TOKYO – 29 May 2025 — Tokyo-based Visban has been selected for the 2024 Startup × University Collaboration Promotion Program, part of the Tokyo Metropolitan Government’s TOKYO SUTEAM initiative led by Campus Create.
The program connects promising startups with academic institutions to foster innovation and accelerate the real-world deployment of advanced technologies.
Visban is developing V-MESH, a next-generation, AI-guided millimeter wave (mmWave) wireless infrastructure that delivers on the promise of mmWave. V-MESH is built around proprietary RF devices that are built on glass substrates. Visban’s goal is to make the power of millimeter wave technology consistently available — reliably and affordably — across a range of sectors, without relying on dense base station infrastructure.
Through this partnership with leading Japanese universities, Visban will advance validation and testing of its technology as it works to help shape the next generation of high-performance connectivity.
