Visban Selected for Full Bloom 2026 Business Co-Creation Program

Company will create new value in entertainment and urban experiences through next-generation millimeter-wave communications technology

TOKYO — September 3, 2026 — Visban K.K., a Tokyo-based company developing next-generation network technology to expand millimeter-wave coverage, announced today that it has been selected as one of 13 startups participating in Full Bloom 2026, a business co-creation program jointly developed by Tokyu Land Corporation and Scrum Studio Inc. at SAKURA DEEPTECH SHIBUYA, a global innovation hub. Visban was selected in the Entertainment & Media category.

Through its participation in the program, Visban will deepen its collaboration with Japanese companies, local governments, investors, and industry experts while exploring opportunities for pilot projects and joint development in areas including gaming, music, intellectual property, media, venues, and urban spaces. By advancing the real-world deployment of communications infrastructure that delivers high-speed, high-capacity, and reliable millimeter-wave connectivity more flexibly and cost-effectively, Visban aims to enable new content experiences and enhance the value of urban environments.

“We are honored to join Full Bloom 2026 and to have the opportunity to collaborate with innovative companies from around the world, as well as leading Japanese content companies and urban development partners,” said Suk-Bae Cha, CEO of Visban K.K. “Next-generation immersive content and urban experiences require a communications infrastructure capable of delivering stable, high-speed, high-capacity connectivity,  regardless of location. With V-Mesh™, we look forward to creating experiences in Shibuya that are worth sharing with the world.”

Next-generation content experiences – including high-definition video, XR, live entertainment, and cloud gaming – require networks capable of carrying massive volumes of data reliably and at low latency. Millimeter-wave technology offers that speed and capacity, but its signals are easily blocked by obstacles and do not travel well around corners, making consistent coverage across indoor and outdoor environments a significant challenge.

Visban’s V-Mesh™ is a multi-hop mesh network that uses AI to control multiple Network-Controlled Repeaters (NCRs) and establish optimized transmission routes based on current network conditions. It is designed to route signals past those obstructions without requiring additional base stations.

Through Full Bloom 2026, Visban will combine its technology with the expertise and resources of content companies, local governments, and venue operators to identify practical applications – in next-generation entertainment, immersive experiences, and event and venue operations.

About Full Bloom 2026

Full Bloom is a deep-tech business co-creation program that builds on its predecessor, the Sakura Deeptech Shibuya Accelerator. Under the concept of “Innovating Content,” the program uses Shibuya – a district where diverse cultural fields such as media, gaming, music, fashion, food, and art intersect – as a proving ground for experimentation and global outreach. It promotes co-creation between advanced technologies from around the world and Japanese companies, cities, and culture.

In 2026, 13 startups from Japan, Israel, the United Kingdom, the United States, and New Zealand were selected for the program. Based at SAKURA DEEPTECH SHIBUYA, the selected companies will pursue business development, pilot projects, and real-world implementation in the Japanese market. Companies in the gaming and music industries are participating as business co-creation partners.
